About Us

Deana Nuxoll – President

Deana is a go getter with 18 years experience in recruiting, marketing and fund-raising. That's a lot of coffee and sweets!

She is a strong believer in creativity, customer service and a well planned marketing mix, Deana will put all of these factors into play to deliver a dynamic marketing campaign. "Our team's focus is to get results for our clients! We will do whatever it takes...but within lawful and moral boundaries and without too much over-time."

By the way, Deana has in her possession a BS in Business Administration – Marketing. Hey, it's U of I..... 'nuf said.

Amy Mathis – Director of Operations

Any job that passes through the hallowed halls of Imagine This! Marketing Group will have Amy's fingerprints on it. For more than 16 years, Amy has been at the helm making sure our work gets done, on-time. She is the Group's media buyer, planner, bookkeeper, customer service representative, on again off again writer, voice talent, proof reader and soooo much more.

Amy appreciates the daily challenges and has never let one get the best of her yet. All of this, plus the time to be a pleasant, happy voice on the telephone.

Tim Smith – Video, Audio and Graphics

Tim has been in media production for about 30 years. Back when he got his degree it was called, "Radio and Television". In the 80s, he studied cinema at SIU-Carbondale, as well as Columbia College in Hollywood. He had big hair.

Tim has knowledge and experience in graphic design. Considers himself an expert in digital media. His voice can be heard in radio ads across the state. He is the official international model for DPI GLOBAL products. He is still waiting for residuals.

Today, his hair style is more conservative.

Megan Beccue – Graphic Designer

Megan brings over 10 years experience to the table in Graphic Design and Photography. She earned a degree in Photography from SIU-Carbondale, back when 'digital photography' was just photo manipulation in Photoshop. Since then she's picked up her Graphic Design skills from various places and learned all about REAL digital photography.

She enjoys all things graphic, whether it be designing a new logo or an entire marketing campaign. It's true she'll do anything, even share her voice on the radio. Megan is our Social Media guru, but ironically likes to be left alone.

Sharon Buenker – Graphic Designer

Sharon has been in the graphic design field for 17 years. She earned her undergrad and graduate degree from Indiana State University and taught classes there as well as worked at a local Terre Haute ad agency. Sharon's creative talent thrives well outside "The Box". Her work has many layers; not like an onion, but real layers, like in Photoshop. Many, many layers.

She enjoys her family, music and science fiction movies. She yearns to master break-dancing and dreams of becoming a ninja. We told her the "ninja" thing is possible but "Little Grasshopper" must first learn to snatch a computer mouse from our hand.

Brad Deters – Website Developer

Brad brings nearly 12 years of experience to the table in the web development field. He earned his degree in Business from Eastern Illinois University.

He comes to ImagineThis after serving as a Public Information Coordinator for the State of Illinois, Department of Central Management Services in Springfield, IL.

Kim Jansen - Copywriter and Social Media Maven

Our newest new member of the "gang" joins us to help write clever things for our clients. (Hey, why isn't she writing this?) Kim graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and minor in Political Science.

Prior to coming to work here, Kim was the Tourism Director for the City of Effingham. She also worked as a grant writer for Lake Land College and as a news reporter for the Effingham Daily News.
